Every summer, Kapor Capital continues a tradition that is as meaningful as it is memorable: bringing two groups of our incredible portfolio founders to Martha’s Vineyard for a few days of learning, networking, and restoration.
With its deep cultural roots and long tradition as a meeting place for leaders and changemakers, Martha’s Vineyard is more than just a scenic destination. Getting there may be a journey, but once you arrive, time feels different. Conversations become more meaningful, relationships deepen, and visions for what’s next start to take shape. For years, we have made it a priority to create this unique experience for our founders, knowing that their work is demanding and often isolating. This trip is our way of saying: we see you, we appreciate you, and we are invested in your success far beyond capital.
Each group stayed in our dedicated Founders House, a space designed for both collaboration and downtime. Over the course of the trip, we hosted two intimate dinners that brought together founders with co-investors, Limited Partners, fellow Kapor Capital entrepreneurs, and trusted champions from the broader ecosystem. These were not just networking events. They were gatherings where origin stories were shared, insights were exchanged, and partnerships were sparked.
These moments, from the shared meals to the strategy sessions to the walks along the Vineyard’s quiet streets, are why we do this. Bringing founders together in a setting that fosters trust, creativity, and genuine connection is at the heart of what we believe drives long-term success.
